Wild Idols

"Wild Idols" was a project we did in a Masterclass with Daniel Fernandez Casas in the master I'm currently attending to. In class, we kinda did a brainstorm of ideas and the ones chosen where a mix of Animals and Music Groups. Then, we made a list of musical styles and everyone chose one, in my case, it was Asiatic music/Idols/K-pop, and with that, we had to design 6 different characters in the 3 days that lasted the masterclass, if posssible, we had to work on them with Photoshop's/Procreate's symmetry tool,and prepare a speech. For inspiration, I searched for Japanese music groups like Uverworld (I'm a huge fan of them), Ladybeard as I wanted to give a touch of humor to one of the characters (Buru-sensei), Babymetal... and anime references like Magical Girl Ore, Aggretsuko, Zombieland Saga, Oshi no Ko, Biscuit from Hunter x Hunter, Beastars, Love Live...

And we had to give them a bit of backstory or personality traits that could be seen in each character. These are the characters in order:

- Buru-sensei: even though he is presented with the idol clothes, he is the manager of Wild Idols, but as one of the members couldn't come to the presentation, one of the leaders' group kinda made him dress like one of the them, but the moment he dressed up, the clothes tore apart badly. He's a really kind person, but a bit manipulable, above all Ki-chan takes advantage of it. He always does his best for the group.

- Ki-chan (from Kitsune): She is the leader of the group along with Taiga and one of the principal singers. She is kinda sassy, but a good person, even though she kinda manipulates the manager at her will to take advantage, but not in a really bad way and would never hurt him in any way. She has a bit of rivalry with Taiga due to her sweet voice.

- Saki: even though she is a fish, she is in charge of the choreographies and the costume design ideas. She is super energetic and willing to give it all for the team, really cheerful.

- Kuroka: even though she is dressed as an idol, in reality, she's an assassin spy infiltrated in the idol group in order to completed her murdering mission without being suspicious.

- Panuda: she's a bit clumsy but she gives her all in every perfomance, she adores dancing and usually stays late pactising in the dancing room to improve her movements trying to beat her clumsy nature.

- Taiga: she's leader of the group along with Ki-chan as the members of the team voted her to be leader/second leader, really loved in the team, she's kinda shy but when she has to unleash her wild nature she does it and nails it. She has a really sweet voice, thing that, along the leader votation, makes Ki-chan has a rivarly with her, even though she is not aware of it and it wasn't her intention.
