Virtual Hero Background redesign

This was a project for Backgrounds for Animation with Donato Fierro (Virtual hero's background artist) class from the master I'm currently attending to. We were given some references from a wide range of different series and all with different styles (in my case, I chose Virtual Hero's as I think it's more my style, manga-ish, I loved the color palette in the references and I'm a fan of ElRubiusOMG since I was really young, who is the Youtuber behind this serie). In this case, we had some frame of the storyboard for the series (done by Pedro Munyoz, Virtual hero's storyboard artist) and we had to choose one of them and create a new background inspired in the references and the storyboard frame chosen (kinda a mix of what a concept artist and a layout artist would do), all trying to imitate the style. I've really enjoyed doing this background, despite being specialized in Character design, as I could see an improvement all in technique and time in environment design, and loved the color palette I used for it too.
